In rural Cambodia, water isn't just life — it's time.
As Siem Reap booms, the villages just 20 km away are being left behind. While city hotels run unlimited taps, rural mothers are spending 150 minutes every single day hauling heavy buckets across the heat. That is time stolen from earning an income. That is time stolen from girls being in school.
WaterWorks Cambodia is here to give that time back. We are a lean, community-funded Australian charity. We don't just "fix a pipe" — we build economic independence. By bringing safe, reliable water to a village, we unlock thousands of hours for women to start small businesses and for kids to stay in the classroom. Safe water is the fastest way to break the cycle of poverty.
