Clean water. Better lives.

WaterWorks Cambodia is an Australian Registered Charity (ABN 84 724 168 039) dedicated to providing sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions to disadvantaged communities in rural Cambodia. Our work focuses on villages in and around the Siem Reap region.

We believe that access to clean, safe water is a basic human right — not a luxury. Through practical, community-owned projects, we work to break the cycle of waterborne disease and its devastating impact on health, education, and livelihoods.

We are proudly donor-funded, with 100% of project funds going directly to the ground in Cambodia.

Our mission in Cambodia

What guides us

🤝

Community First

We work with communities, not just for them. Every project is implemented with local involvement, ensuring ownership, sustainability, and respect.

🔍

Transparency

Donors deserve to know where their money goes. We are committed to full transparency — from how funds are raised to how they are spent on the ground.

🌱

Sustainability

Our projects are built to last. We use quality materials and empower local communities with the knowledge to maintain their water systems long term.

❤️

Compassion

At the heart of everything we do is a deep care for the people we serve. Every family matters. Every child matters. Every life improved is a life worth celebrating.

Practical Impact

We focus on cost-effective, proven solutions. A $65 AUD water filter. A $430 AUD water well. A $950 toilet. Simple, practical, measurable impact — not overheads-heavy programs.

🤲

Accountability

As an Australian Registered Charity, we operate to the highest standards of governance. Your trust is our greatest responsibility.

On the ground, in the community

WaterWorks Cambodia works closely alongside village communities and village chiefs to identify the families most in need. Our approach is hands-on, building relationships and assessing needs at a grassroots level. We listen carefully to local knowledge and village referrals, and draw on our own deep experience and understanding of the communities we serve. From gifting clean water wells to building A Loo 4 A Poo, we gift families what they truly need. Ultimately, the final decision on which families receive these gifts rests with WaterWorks Cambodia, guided by both the community's referrals and our years of on-the-ground knowledge and experience.
